Maple Jerk Pork Tenderloin

Sweet, savoury and gently spiced, this Maple Jerk Pork Tenderloin pairs our Rooted Path Jerk Seasoning with Canadian maple sugar for a flavourful twist on a weeknight favourite. Tender pork is served alongside roasted sweet potatoes and broccoli for a colourful, well-balanced meal.

Simple to prepare and full of flavour, this recipe is great for weeknight dinners and meal prepping. Make a little extra for easy lunches or dinners throughout the week.

🌿 Rooted Path Ingredients

🫕 Before You Start

  • Rooted Path Jerk Seasoning

  • Winding Road Maple Sugar or brown sugar

  • Preheat oven to 425°F

  • Remove pork from the fridge 15-20 minutes before cooking

  • Wash and dry broccoli

🛒 Your Grocery List

*Divide ingredients in 1/2 for 2 servings or times ingredients by 1 1/2 for 6 servings

  • 1 1/4 lbs pork tenderloin

  • 1 lb sweet potatoes, peeled and wedged

  • 3 tbsp oil

  • sea salt, to taste

  • 1 1/4 lbs broccoli, cut into bite-size pieces

👨‍🍳 Directions


PORK AND POTATOES

  1. Toss potatoes with 1 tbsp of oil, seasoning with salt and the Winding Road Maple Sugar (1/4 tbsp per serving). Spread evenly onto a baking sheet.

  2. In the centre of potatoes add pork and coat with 1 tbsp of oil, season with salt, the Rooted Path Jerk Seasoning (1/2 tbsp per serving) and Winding Road Maple Sugar (1/4 tbsp per serving).

  3. Bake for 15 mins, turn pork and bake for 10 more mins or until cooked through, internal temperature should read 145°F, and the potatoes are tender.

  4. Remove from oven, tent with foil and let rest for 10 minutes.


BROCCOLI - start about 5 minutes before the pork and potatoes are done

  1. Coat broccoli with 1 tbsp of oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. Once the pork and potatoes have come out of the oven, add the broccoli to the oven and bake for 5-10 minutes or until tender.


Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 days or freeze for 3 months.
